7 bodies recovered from Dasgaja in Jogabani border point


Aug 15, 2017-

Seven dead bodies swept in the recent floods in Tarai have been recovered from Dasgaja near Jogbani border point on Tuesday.

Four dead bodies of unidentified male and three females have been retrieved from the area.

The police have suspected that the bodies might have been swept during the recent flooding from the Nepali side of the border and they are coordinating with the locals and Indian security forces to confirm the identities of the deceased.

The bodies have been sent to Biratnagar-based Koshi Zonal Hospital for postmortem.

According to Eastern Region Police Office, 46 people have died in the floods in eastern region and 25 people are still missing.
