Bhojpur locals in trouble due to lack of concrete bridges

Locals of Bhojpur district have been facing difficulties to travel from one place to another as most of the rivers and rivulets in the district lack concrete bridges.

Many people had lost their lives in the past due to risky travel through makeshift bridges.

The makeshift bridges constructed before the monsoon season either collapses or face damages at the end of the rainy season.

At the same time, there are risk of floods and landslides as well.

People are compelled to travel by using makeshift bridges as there are no alternative.

Though the locals have demanded suspension and concrete bridges over and over again in the past, but their demands have not been addressed yet.

Altogether, there are 35 makeshift bridges in the district.
