Norvic hospital tense after infant’s death

Thapathali-based Norvic Hospital remained tense on Tuesday following the death of an infant during the course of treatment.

Irate kin and the locals vandalised the hospital blaming it’s negligence for the death of 16-month-old child Victoria Acharyam from Dailekh.

The hospital’s doors, windows and some computers were vandalised by the irate relatives and locals. The hospital has been cordoned off by the security personnel following the demonstration.

She was admitted to the hospital on Thursday after minor fever but was abruptly declared dead this afternoon, said her father Dr Ramesh.
